Mo is an artist living in Brussels. He fled Senegal after his uncle threatened to kill him because he refused to marry a thirteen year old girl. He asked for asylum in Belgium in 2013, but his case got refused for not being "bad enough". He has a space at Globe Aroma, a social and artistic organization that aims to create intercultural dialogue through art. It offers artists, asylum seekers, and refugees an exhibition space in Brussels to showcase their work and allow them to build a network. Thanks to the organization, he was able to exhibit his paintings.
