On International Women Rights’ day, women from the Kvindehuset (women’s house) in Aarhus, Denmark, wear their traditional clothes to celebrate their different cultures. They come from Iraq, Morocco, Syria, Greenland, Uzbekistan or Palestine. At the Kvindehuset they can make connections, learn Danish, take various courses and get involved into politics.
