The Henriksen family lives in a farm surrounded by forests and lakes in the Central Region of Denmark. Children, animals or vegetables, everything here grows freely - and naturally. “Biophilia: a natural life” tells the story of a family living in harmony with nature while remaining connected to the modern world.
The word “biophilia” comes from Greek (bio = life, and philia = love), which means: love of life or living things. The biophilia hypothesis suggests that human beings possess an innate tendency to seek connections with other forms of life in nature.
